This is the trading arm of the group and concentrates on crude oil and clean product trading in and out of South Africa. Kepu Trading also imports and exports cargoes for South African oil companies.

Kepu Trading was formed in 2003 as a joint venture with Lukoil to concentrate on product trading within Africa. As time went by it became increasingly noticeable that South Africa needed a stand-alone strong BEE trading company and the two companies parted ways amicably.

Kepu Trading is today managed by two of the most experienced players in the market, the Managing Director Bryn Ressell and Rodney Leeman.
